Summer is coming along with those pesky bug bites right? Here are some natural homeopathic remedies you can purchase at your local store or online and they are safe: I suggest you keep them on hand.
Various symptom’s you or your children might experience and what to use:
- “Everything is swollen.” Try “Apis”
- “I itch like crazy and I can’t stop scratching.” Try “Caladium”
- “My throat is closing up and I’m having trouble breathing.” Try “Carbolic acid”
- “I’m covered in flea bites” Try “Ledum”
- “It’s worse than a bee sting. I don’t remember being stung, but I think it may have been a wasp!” Try “Vespa.”
- How to take them: Give pellets of 30C every thirty minutes to four hours, depending on the intensity of the bite or sting or if the reaction to it is very severe.
- After you first notice improvement, give another dose only if symptoms begin to return.
- Lower potencies (6X, 6C, 30X) may need to be given more often (every 2 to 4 hours).
- Higher potencies (200X, 200C, 1M) generally need to be given only once. Repeat only if symptoms return with intensity; give only infrequently in this case.
- Extras:For itching: soak in a bathtub of warm water with one cup of baking soda (aluminum free) or one cup of raw oatmeal. For swelling: ice pack or cold wet compress at least 20 minutes or more. Sip a glass of one to two Alka-Seltzer tablets dissolved in water. Drink one teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in a glass of water.
